✅ SOLVED <B>What is this little guy?<B>

Made of brass and marked 'Hong Kong', is this a coat hanger? Not sure because the hanger part doesn't have much of a hook to it. It's three and a half inches tall with the one mounting hole on top, and the rod extends two and a half inches. Anyone ever seen one? Thanks, Charles

Despite the lack of a very functional hooking ability, it appears that is a coat hook... Or at least that's what they were being sold as in a few recently ended eBay auctions.
