I ended up finding an empty lot that I believe housed a farm house that pre-dated 1900. Found some oil lamp parts, a Tootsie Toy pickup , and some coins.
The lamp parts were in the same hole. Can't quite make out the markings but it says Manhaten something, has an older patent method called out with an 186X date on it.
The Tootsie toy was unexpected. Hit really solid on the AT Pro and I thought I had either a can or a dollar coin. It was nudged up against the trunk between some roots. I can just imagine a child playing in the dirt and loosing track of it. i believe it was made from 1948-1950. Not bad looking for 65-ish years old.
Also found three wheats that dating 1920something for one and the rest out of the 1940's. This is the same place where I dug up the 1880's indian head, so as you can imagine I've also picked up a number of hashed out zincolns trying to repeat. After probably 12 hours at the place, I finally found my first silver coin, a 1950's Rosie.
Finally, I think I found a piece of jewelry. I believe it to be a bolo tie. No markings on it but it seems to be that type of thing. The back fell out, but an interesting find none the less.
