My wife's first axe...took her about 5 hours but she got it done. Good thing I blind-folded her driving into the farm! A dandy graham-cave and an axe all in one day. The second picture is me with a decent side-notch...all I found that day.

What a beauty! I'll bet she was beside herself. And admit it, you were happy for her but just a little sick to your stomach. Did she fondle it all the way home? I would have. Congratulations to her on a real prize.

She was excited and loves showing if off on the fire place mantle...she won't admit it but she is now a little hooked on artifact hunting.

Great hunt even the best of quality time could create some animosity ,you didnot give her the old beginners luck spheal or you wouldnot have found that axe had i not taken you there did you ?
