Axe head. Can anyone estimate an age?

Found this axe head at an old colonial site today. It's a farm field though so it might be much more modern. Can anyone estimate an age on this thing?

Very cool... but looks more like a maul... a wood splitter... which I guess is still an axe Never mind me...
