Axe Head & Brass Buckle

Found these 2 items tonight, looks like a axe head...any ideas on rough age? knowing my luck is modern lol it is steel i believe and verrry heavy. also found a buckle maybe from a belt or horse harness i have no idea lol looks like brass.

I don't think it is an Axe head. It looks more like a short jack hammer bit, stone chisel or

The iron piece looks like it could be a blacksmith anvil cut off hardy.
