Yesterday I hunted an old house with a buddy of mine. I actually hunted this property 5 yrs ago with a whites MXT and at that time I only got 2 wheats and one merc. This time was way different!!!! First pass along the sidewalk I got an iffy signal, bouncing around a bit and it was a 1900 indian with 3 nails in the hole, about 3 feet away I got a classic 12-41 wheat signal showing 6" deep, well after battling thru the roots out popped a 1864 2 cent piece, I about flipped out!!! I did NOT expect that at all!
Shortly after got a solid 12-11 signal at 3" it was a 1889 V nickel.....I started digging everything that beeped after that, got some wheats, the toy wagon and the 1934 merc. That was about it for that yard. After that we hit a curb strip in front of an older home and I got the walker it was no more than 3" deep, hard to believe no one had found that one! Last stop was another curb strip in front of an old building and the first target I dug was the 1899 indian, great way to end the long hot humid day!!!!!
