In the last week, I hit up a statewide thrift and then a GW. At the statewide thrift, I picked up a 8g 14k brooch by DET (David E. Tribech) for 2.99, along with a 14k onyx pendant for the same price. I think I should have bought the fifth as well. I only saw silver in the bags but once I got them home...gold! Over 40 grams, along with a decent amount of silver!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1571737843.953943.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1571737863.247234.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1571737922.627124.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1571737934.274427.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1571737948.374367.jpg
The amethyst pin is made by DET as well! The silver matador earrings are Parisina and from the 40s I believe. Its been a great week!

What a great haul!!

Boy you've got a good, GW. Mine has nothing like that. I think the big hub in Denver is weeding all the real treaures out before they distribute it all out. I believe if a local donates any jewelry it still heads to the main hub to be inspected, because I've checked other GWs in the metro and nothing but costume is what they have also.

You crushed it!

Sold the enamel flower pin to someone in China (eBay) for $300 with shipping. Sold some other pieces as a lot to a buddy.

Sold the amethyst pin for $350. Best jewelry finds in a while!

Awesome finds, congrats! :icon_thumleft:
