Well today I got out with a couple old friends and a couple new to enjoy this great Va day. We had 2 sites lined up to hopefully find some nice bottles. At the first site the hole turned on to be a barrel pit with nothing in it or so I thought. When expanding the hole I saw a large band of rust cut a huge chunk of dirt out and here rolls this nice boreman 12 lber.
Well we hit the next site and not much happening in the hole. We found a nice 3x6 hole that had one whole pontil in the bottom kinda sucked. The house was a early home (1812) It looked like it had been dipped a lot. But I had put together a nice screen the day before so we manage a bunch of really nice marbles and underwater buttons. Oh I almost forgot the great early pipe bowl. It is a nice late 18th century one. Thanks for looking hopefully more to come.
