image.jpgimage.jpgWell it's been awhile since I posted, been busy with work n all. But I went out the other day and found an old Prince Albert can in Farley good condition with all paint in tact and all text still legible. It was jam packed with dirt so I shook it out and almost crapped when what appeared to be a coin fell the bottom. But it was no coin , instead a Horstmann Philadelphia eagle button! :headbang:image.jpg

Now that is a great surprise! You found someone's buried treasure, congrats!

What was even cooler was that eagle buttons have been coming my way lately, when the can first rung on the AT gold I thought it was a coin. So when I pulled the can I wasn't to happy, I have found tons of these in the same condition. And when we left I was bummed I didn't find any eagles. Low and behold, when I got home there it was!

Nice relics there, intact tins like that just elude me !

Coinandrelicman, the dry dirt here in the southwest keeps them tins nice and neat for their age! Kills bottles though.....

The can in and of itself looks pretty good too. Congrats on the pretty button.

hope the can wasn't stuffed full of silver certificates that decayed!

What are the odds?? You have to wonder sometimes.

Congrats on a great find.

That is one of the coolest things I've seen lately. What a cool story
