Haven't posted in a while. I've been doing 1 box of halves per week with not much silver luck, did find one 74d DDO last week and two 74d DDO's in this weeks box plus a nice '77 proof.

Also, I've been doing about 2 nickel boxes per week finding 0-2 war nicks per box and a buff every few boxes.

I mainly hunt dimes. I'm up to 12 boxes per week now. Been doing pretty decent lately, a lot of 4 silver boxes. I had never broken the 4 silver in a box mark until today. Scored 10 silvers total, 6 rosies and 4 mercs, saweet!! I also recently found my first KG Canadian dime, been wanting one of those for a while. I've pulled two clipped planchet dimes from the 60's, one kinda small the other a pretty nice clip. Today's score filled my second roll of silver rosies and I'm over half way through my first roll of "others" (mercs mostly, Canadians, barber)

Today while dumping, I found my first 2 steel cents stuck to the magnet! Foreign coin collection is also growing thanks to the magnet and reject tray, always a fun bonus.

Total for the year so far.
4 boxes of dimes - 12 rosies, 4 mercs
2 boxes of nickels - 3 war, 2 buff
1 box of halves - nada silver

Goal for the year is to stack 1000 silver dimes, might be a little high, but if I keep at it I think I can do it.

Good luck on the 1000 silvers! I love love love finding silver dimes. Especially when its a shiny, white, worn down edge. Nothing is more pretty than that sight! :hello2:

good job on the dimes. I've been doing a few dime boxes a week lately and I probably avg. about 1 keeper per box - always love seeimg those silver edges. :)

Nice dime score. I've been busy the past few days so I've only searched $150 in dimes total and found a 1946 & 1958 Rosie. I've got my first box of halves to pick up tomorrow. I'm not expecting much, just hoping I don't get skunked. But it looks like dimes might be the way to go!
