Well I hit the park we've been hitting now for a few weeks.
We got a tip from a elderly gentleman that they used to play poker at a site, and he pointed us in the right direction.
This is what we've been detecting the last 2 days.
As luck would have it we got snow, but this is a island in the middle of a marsh and it's covered by big trees so we where pretty good sheltered. If it wasn't for that we expected snow I would have brought the camera! It's a beautiful place!
Well at first all we got where a few modern coins from the 50's trough the 80's. Then all of the sudden it said bang and old coins where jumping at us from all directions! It was crazy! I tell you that place held more coins then trash.
Well since it's about 66 foot in diameter we're through with that place and moved on to the main park to get some change, modern coins that is.
As we where hunting as couple of youngsters came by and asked what we where doing, well my pal he exclaimed
"We're looking for land mines!"
They gave us a odd look and where completely confused.
Of course my pal said he was only kidding and that it's our hobby.
We carried on for another 30 minutes or so and then left for home, our total time today was approx 4 hours.
