Hello y'all,

I went to a new house today to try my luck. It was built in 1948. Here's the haul.
A 1950s toy #4 roadster tootsie toy. (Exact year needed)

When I dug it up I thought it was a "support our troops" medal but its actually a "support my habit" marihuana badge with leaves on it. Makes me wonder what my neighbors are up to...

And a nice mercury dime, my 4th this year.

What part of town are you hunting? Do you ever get to hunt the Quarter, adjacent areas, or Garden District?

Nice finds Wheatfinder. That marijuana badge is far out man (as we used to say back in the 60's). Like the merc also.

Usually, I hunt old metairie, but occasionally I hunt uptown by my school

Ha ha! That's funny!

According to my Tootsietoy Guide book your truck was made from 1970 to 1977. Cool find. My oldest Tootsie find was a woody wagon that was made from the late 1930's to 1941. It was the version with white rubber tires.
