Hey friends.


got together today with my good friend rcranius and hit a field that he had heard of. He know of a guy detecting there not too long ago and finding some 3 ringer bullets. So we thought we could check it out. Boy I am glad we did! We found some whatsits too. If anyone could help us figure out what the fork thingy is and the hook piece with the ring is we would appreciate it! Thanks again Ronnie for letting me in on the spot!

It's half a horse 'bit'. (your friends large find)

(Also you got a horse harness buckle)

Nice way to launch the New Year. Congrats on the silver half.

As someone already stated, the cross piece with the ring is half of a horse bit.

The forked brass thing goes on the end of a lighting rod. See picture below.
