AVATAR - Must See...

Saw the movie this weekend...stunning effects and a great story as well. Not much else I can say except...go see it!
It must just be me, but I really have no desire to watch this film. Cameron is a great director, and I've gotten to see plenty of interviews with cast members and trailers for it, but it just looks plain weird to me, not something I would spend money to watch. I may catch it when it hits DVD.

After watching some trailers I was also apprehensive...but let me tell you: It was all gone after the first 15 minutes.

Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right? I'll give it a go!

Wife hates 3-D movies, they scare her so I took her to see the regular showing (she liked it, and she hates si-fi), the movie was so good I then went back to see the 3-D version by myself. It is a great movie, good story line, and the visual and special effects are fantastic. It is worth all the hype it has received......I may go back and see 3-D version even again, take one of my brothers as an excuse....

I didn't really think I'd care for this movie either, my wife wanted to see it, but it was a really good movie. I'd recomend seeing it.

Nice, but you miss the big screen feel and no 3-D......I rarely ever go to the movies, I prefer to watch them on my 55" digital wide screen with 500 watt Yamaha surround sound system, I'm really glad I paid to see Avatar at the theater, but if I had to pay what some charge I wouldn't have gone...First time I saw it with wife was regular screen for $5.00 matinee, next time was 3-D matinee for $8.00, some places it is $15.00

I had the opportunity to see the movie and thought it was excellent. Not many movies I would see twice but this one I could see again, again and again.

Saw it 3 times at theater twice in 3-D, once regular with my wife, she doesn't like 3-D, then bought it on DVD widescreen 16x9, I watched it again last weekend on my wide screen, I miss the 3D, but then I don't have to tell anyone to be quiet durring the movie...
