I don't know if anyone can tell me if this is an authentic dagger, I know repro's are big in this area. It is missing the little insignia on the handle but it appears original there is also 2 little letters "he" on the pommel base in the center. can anyone estimate a value range if authentic? thanks for all the help happy hunting!!

I don't know anything about the knife. However, the "he" is on the guard. The pommel is at the other end of the hilt. What are the words on the blade? And what is the round design on the handle at the pommel end?

That's a Nazi SA Dagger. It's been re-handled most likely...does the engraving say "Alles fur duetchland" by chance? If so, that's what it is.

The blade is mark Herm Konejung AG Solingen The blade does say Illes Fur Deutfchland and like I said there is a "he" on bottom of handle in the middle. I wasn't sure about value since te insignia in the middle of the handle is gone. Thanks again for all the help

Maybe, does it say "Blunt und uhre" on the blade? It doesn't appear to be a Hitler youth knife.

You'll need to take it to a real expert on these things, perhaps at a gun or knife show. They have been reproducing this model since the 1960s and some repros are very hard to tell from the originals. The fact that it is missing the emblem definitely decreases the value. I saw a good one for sale at a knife show a couple weeks ago and the asking price was $400, it was complete with a fine condition scabbard.

It's an SA dagger in awful shape.

The He stands for Hesse, a region in Germany.

Market is about $35 - $50 if real, but there were a lot of parts daggers assembled after the war and a huge repro market.
