It is an eagle, not a mule, if you're referring to the animal on the front. You have an old 1 groschen piece. This was the smallest denomination in Austrian currency. Right before the Euro went into effect the 10 groschen coins were thin little aluminum ones, and 100 groschen equaled one schilling. 12 schillings to the dollar at that point. So 10 groshen were equal to less than a cent then. That gives you an idea of how small the denomination was. I don't know anything about the collector's value of this one, though. I don't get into world coins much. I have heard about the inlayed medal before, but I can't recall what it signifies.

By "mule" I mean a coin that another entity affixed their symbology to to use as currency instead of minting their own coins. It happened frequently during periods of wars.
