I was going through my "treasures" and found an Australian coin of some type. I thought it was a quarter until I cleaned it up. Perhaps some of our members Down Under can tell me its value. It's sightly smaller than a USA quarter and has a picture of Queen Elizabeth II on the front. On the back it has the numeral 10. It is dated 1977 and appears to be made of nickel or a compound of nickel clad. I'm sure it is a common coin and I don't even know where I dug it up or how it got into my collection. Replies appreciated. JIM

How it got there ...

Thanks for the info guys! I think it was a coin I got from the chips of a playground but not positive. Probably brought to school for show and tell? JIM
