Hey music aficionados, I figured I'd toss this question out there in the hopes that maybe one of the Treasurenet members have had occasion to hire an auction company in the past.
I'm looking for an auction company which specializes (or has an expert on staff who specializes) in musical instruments. My step-mother has a 1927 (approx) Gibson L5 Acoustic Sunburst Guitar that she wants to sell. It was her father's who bought it back in the day when he was an active band member. Its in excellent condition and was recently professionally re-strung. If any member here knows or has experience with an auction house specializing in musical instruments, I'm looking for suggestions.
Reason for wanting specialization: They are in tune with the day to day goings on and trends in the popularity and demand for certain types of instruments.
