Sold them all.
Went to an auction the other day. Generally just check stuff out when I go. This one was interesting; no one hardly there (weather), off day than usual (weather), and they wanted everything sold! Ended up buying a couple tablefuls of items. One table was mostly all 18-19th century piece, some marked with stickers as info. (I think the items were from a collector and or Antique place). The other table was so-so. Also bought nice set of nesting Pyrex bowls for $20, which I should be able to move for $50+. Got a nice quality patio set for the house, $30! Almost new grill with 1/2full tank for $30 (mines currently old and under a 8ft snow bank). Also got box lot of vintage 35mm cameras for $20. All said, I spent around $200.

In the so-so lot was a set of 16 glass pieces pictured below are two of them. They are lighter yellow in color. Wondering if worth anything or should I chuck or garage sale them in spring?

I'll see if I can get some more picks up tomorrow. I listed two items in the "What is it?" forum also.

Thanks

yep, "Petal" by Federal Glass Co 1950's-ish. Don't know if it's ever been reproduced though.

Thanks Jade, I'll do some research on that, pretty sure they are original. Wonder if they're worth trying to sell and at what price?

Oh, and welcome to TNet!

would they be classed as carnival glass?
Cheers
No, it would be termed depression glass. Beware though, the pattern is being copied (Made In China) and being sold in Dollar stores. There are people removing the bar-code tags and selling them to both the wary seller and the unsuspecting buyer. Telling the difference is almost impossible except in the feel. The federal ones are heavier than the fake ones. This alone makes the price drop.
