I'm thinking it's a piece of stamped metal repousse of old egyptian revival jewelry similar to the one at this link. Time Dances By - Victorian Jewelry: VJ045 I'm thinking it is from the time just after Tut's tomb was discovered and all things egyptian was in style in jewelry and fashion.

That's pretty strange, because just a few weeks ago, I found another Egyptian piece, and it turned out to be one of the 1920's fashion pieces. Thanks for the help.
