Now this one I found near La Grange Texas at the site of an old military college from 1840-1898 ish. I've had this for probably 10 years.
It's made of brass but as you can see about halfway up the shaft of the item it has a rusty spot that looks as if it was clinched around the waist by something iron. One of the two arms of this piece is also broken but on the remaining arm you can see in the second picture that it had about a pencil size shaft that was part of it but has itself broken off. It measures eight inches tall if standing upright and 4 inches across at it's widest point.
Any guesses
