Attaching thumbnails to your posts

I am fairly computer illiterate but I have never had great success opening thumbnails from this site. Many of the photos folks are posting as attachments are never seen , I suspect, because they take too long to load on the viewers computer or never load at all. Today seems to be a particularly bad day for this as people are posting end of year finds and it would be great to see these. Any one else having this problem? PS it aint like I have dial up. Qball I got you beat on E-challenged. I sure hope they get it fixed...I miss all the wonderful pics of TH'ers finds.
Especially when there's a background pic of a warm sunny location.
