Got these today after work. The Atlas jar I seen a week ago and left it behind. After thinking it over I decided I would bring it home and use it for the clad I find with the AT Pro. Has a small crack at the opening but love the look of the jar!! Then walked around a bit and found the Blue label ketchup bottle. Seams to be in great shape. I have included pictures in hopes to see if any one has any info.

I can't help on the ID, but have had similar experiences where I have seen some cool bottles while detecting and finally decided to save them. I wish I new how to decipher the verbiage on the bottom of bottles.

The Heinz Blue Label Ketchup bottle dates to the 1930s and the Atlas E-Z Seal mason jar is circa 1920s-1930s. Nice finds.

Thanks 2moshers. I'm tempted to go back as there are a few more bottles, but then again I have no need for them either lol. Is there a way to look up a bottle date by a pattern number? I recall seeing one with something about a pattern pending number or something like that on the bottom.

There are many different kinds of bottle and jar codes. The best way is to google, in this case, dating Atlas E-Z Seal Mason Jars or Blue Label Ketchup bottles. All kinds of info out there. Another large website with lots of info is the Historic Bottle Website. I am no expert by any means but with my many recent bottle and jar detecting finds I seem to be getting a little more knowledgeable along the way. lol Good luck with your treasure hunting and research muddyrock!

Ok, thanks again 2mosher.
