Love all that jewelry! What coil were you using on The AT Pro??

Check the tightness of your cable connections.

Had a ten ring weekend . My at pro started making random noises every time I moved or bumped it maybe new batteries will fix it if not I will have to send it in

Great Digs man!...I had an issue at first with my ATP making crazy noises....I do know that if you bang it on stuff it will go nuts

I have had it for five months it just started acting up

Thats sucks...Is it doing it EVERYTIME you go out?..or just random times?..either way its annoying im sure...YOu might wanna call Garrett, they have great customer service...sorry to hear that thou.

Im wonderin if its something to do with the Coil itself?

Three hours in the water detector is acting right yoo hoo

Roger, try wrapping the coil wire starting about ten inches up from the coil; mine made a lot of noises and when I did that all noises stopped. I actually thought my machine was broke but it isn't. Good luck!

I had the same trouble after a few months then I ck'd the connection and i never had it securely tightened in the 1st place. I haven had any trouble since.

I called Garrett told them what my At pro was doing they said they were shipping me a new coil .

roger....mines is doing that when I bumped stiff weeds or clumps of grass......is that what yours is doing

and come to think of it I just put the stock coil back on today and it wasn't doing that with the 5x8
