So you have the same problem huh?TheOldMan said:Best not to mess with camlocks. Just take a phillips screwdriver and loosen two screws on bottom that connects housing to the shaft. Install new batteries same way the old ones were removed - turn detector on to make sure..even a screwloose like me did it wrong one time. Tighten screws. I usually replace my batteries when the bar just hits one and don't wait until the detector starts acting up.
