AT Pro to ETrac Questions

Get a copy of Andy Sabisch's E-Trac/Explorer book for technical info.
Also, go to "The Beep Goes On" website where you can find a downloadable E-Trac emulator & target files. It will help you to learn your way around the menu, and start to familiarize you with the tonal responses.

Hunting with an experienced E-trac user is the best way. You can compare settings and sounds on the various targets you both find.

Learn TTF and get an X-8 or X-5 coil for iron infested sites. It's an awesome machine! Congrats.

Thank you everyone. I don't know anyone who has one. I'll be on my own to learn. Everyone around here has a Garrett (including me) or Whites. Im hoping the Etrac might make a difference in the quality and depths of my finds.

It think you will find that it will.

I used a AT Pro for sometime and have only played with an Etrac. Congratulations, you finds will probably go up.

I Have Six Hours on my Etrac since I got it! I used an AT Pro before..Took the
etrac back over the same area's and here are my finds since....I like how quiet
the etrac is compared to the AT Pro!

I own the AT Pro, and the Etrac, once your familiar with it's menu settings, there is nothing like spending time with your machine, I've had my Etrac for about 5 months, in my ground the Etrac is deeper searcher but not as fast as the AT, so don't go swinging it like the AT or you'll miss a lot of targets, let it do the work and it will find go stuff, as some one once said learn your trash targets and you'll know the good ones,, GL and HH
