AT PRO: second time out today : finds

Today I reaped the benefits of a year of confusion and frustration with the BH pioneer 202. Surely, it forged the skillset I have today, not gonna knock the machine.....beautiful entry level to start learning. Giving it to a friend now as it has a bad coil and, mainly, after today's finds with my new Garrett AT Pro, the BH will only collect dust from now on...
Got a chunk of silver(about an oz) a ton of coins(all modern, shucks!) Two musket balls, shotgun shell brass and my first intact silver ring. I found this all at a location I'd been countless times with my BH. I knew I was gonna clean up better w. The at pro! But I didn't think it'd be THAT GOOD. Dove right into 'pro mode' and we're getting along great!!!

Any i fo about this ring would be great! Im not a jewler so it looks like either amyethist or hopefully purple saphire......missing 3 out of 4 gold inlays but maybe ill go back for them tomorrow. There were faint signals after i picked the ring from the 12" hole. Aside from coins this is my first major find. Any information is appreciated! Thanks for reading!!

Looks like you're doing great with the AT Pro. I have one and have never had a day like yours. It's either operator error of I need to find some spots with more targets. Best of luck to you. Gary

Good job I have a Nox but miss my pro and max very easy to use I could tell pop tops cause the vdi would bounce 4 to 5 numbers and they love coins Nice ring and its like starting all over you can hunt all the spots you have been to before and find stuff you may have missed Good job
