My Pro is going bananas every time I switch it on. I've separated the control unit from the coil, and it still beeps uncontrollably. I managed to take it apart, and dried the insides with a hair dryer - on old Pros like mine, moisture can get in - but to no avail. Don't know what to try next - any suggestions? Hope video below posts, and thanks in advance for any help.

I know you have but, new batteries? How about changing the frequency?

Yup. No dice, sadly, mindcrime.

After checking all of the basics and you are still having issues, I would contact Garrett. They have one of the best customer service reputations out there.

No small piece of iron in bedded in your coil I sent my pro to garrett twice 2 years after warranty fixed free both times new box They also shipped very quickly

Arg ——- sensitivity low?? Try a new local.....

Also if you get a bad ground balance your numbers will just run all wacko GB in a clean area if your are in an area with a lot of iron it will be hard to get the balance . Try also by setting manually to what it usually is see if that helps

call garrett also tech guys are great plus they will probably send you a free coil check connections and pins also

mine did the same, it started last Nov, just sent it in last Thursday and they called and said it was all done, about a week an a half turn around , couldn't ask for anything better, give them a call and they will give you a # to put on the package, mine need a new coil too

Peal the coil cover off and give it and coil a good cleaning. Sometimes they pack up with crud and the machine gets erratic.
