At Pro for tall people?

Look at the specs for the detector. Usually it will say maximum and minimum height. Also check to see if they sell a "tall" rod. I have the opposite problem, under five feet, and have found that adjustability varies from detector to detector, and had to buy a "short" rod for my minelab.

I'm 6'5 and have the at pro. I have no issues and it seems longer than my old Bh platinum. I've got it maxed but its plenty long.

6' 4" Here No problems Swinging The Pro Chug

No problems 6'4" and it works great and Garrett CS is excellent if you need them.

Has anybody actually had a problem with a detector that won't open long enough? I've only owned a few detectors, couple BH's, a couple Fisher's, a Garrett's and a Tesoro, but I haven't had any issues with any of the detectors i've ever owned.

I'm 6'5" as well, and I had issues with my White's Prizm years ago.

I now use a CTX at it's maximum height setting. If I were any taller, it would be too short. Fortunately, I will shrink as I get older (statistically speaking).
