Hello everyone !! :hello:


I went to the old "hunted out" ball field again. I finally got out...!! :headbang: Just to rehone my skills... This site has been hit very hard by many people over many many years. I've gone all day without finding a thing at this site. First hunt of the year, I was not expecting to find anything. :dontknow: However I caught this nice silver hit in with a bunch of nails/iron and bottle cap signals. :thumbsup: Those who don't know AT pro's are really good at finding bottle caps. ??? If you listen to the tone and notice the numbers they are not as steady/solid as silver. :occasion14: Anyway I caught this whisper of a good signal and stuck with it. Pulled out a nice old Merc 1918 my first silver of the season. :icon_scratch: Here are some pictures I hope you enjoy. :notworthy:

Just got my AT Pro this season and have already been blown away by it's ability to pull goodies from the trashiest places I've just avoided in the past.

Its really an amazing machine, the Audio roll over, the iron audio and its recovery speed. From one signal to the next is really amazing !! :headbang:

Beautiful Merc ! in beautiful shape..great detail..I am still cutting teeth with my AT Pro...hit some schoolyards today (city parks are off limits) and tore up the clad..and a LOT of bottle caps! My best? signal 94..ended up being a cone shaped top to a steel fence post..ugh..But I LOVE those quarter hits..pow! and easy to locate usually dont need the pin-pointer for those units. thx for sharing! partial to Mercs..ddf

Once you get used to how a metal detector works. :icon_scratch: How the signals/targets hit different and how silver and good targets read. :occasion14: Then it gets easier to find the good stuff, it gets easier with time ! :headbang:
