Had a pretty good week last week. The temps have dropped and the weather has been great!

Went to one of my swimming area spots looking for gold, and after about 1500 pulltabs and scraps of cans, I managed to find this little 10k womans ring!..This is my 4[SUP]th[/SUP] gold for the year, so I was pretty stoked.

I also found a bunch of fake diamond earrings…one of them is set in Silver, so it wasn’t all really junk.

What’s funny is I was ONLY looking for Gold signals, and still found a few silver rings and earrings.

After getting tired of digging strictly gold signals, I went out to the old park of the park .

I can tell you right now, that if you run the ATP, having the smaller coil is a MUST, I found these 4 Silver coins in a place that we have pounded for the last 3 years.

1937 Merc in great shape!

2- Rosies and my Second ever War Nickel.

I was on my way back to the car when I got a low tone, but really deep. I was down about 8 Inches or so, and found this Fort Worth Transit token that was dated 1920. It was for the electric railway they had here in Fort Worth a while back.

Thanks for reading!

Wow....... killer finds. Gotta luv Texas.:icon_thumleft:

When you say "the smaller coil", are you talking about the DD coil or their sniper coil? What settings do you run?

Sorry, i should have been a little more clear. I was just refering to the DD 5x8 coil. For the last couple years i was running the stock coil and just recently got the 5x8. Which has already paid for itself in the last month.

I used to discriminate ALOT...but lately, after reading posts. I started running it in Zero Pro Mode, with the Iron disc around 20.

But i can tell you, with all this done, Im still digging targets 10" easily.

Great finds man! Love the token!
Did you finally get the 5X8 coil?

Thanks!!

and yes...Got it about 2-3 weeks ago and have pretty much found something with it every time i went out...Very Impressed. It really does pick out good targets from trash.

That's awesome man!
I agree it does pick out good targets amongst the trash.

I haven't used the stock coil once since I got the 5X8 lol

Good luck out there!

GOOD JOB I'm glad to see digging all those pulltabs paid off with not only the gold but also everything above "SILVER"

Oh yea...I meant to throw a pic on the POUNDS of pulltabs and can slaw I dug....since the temps are so much nicer, i dont mind digging tons of trash....digging all that in the summer time is just a beating.

Thats how I run mine, but I also have my sensitivity on max. Just yesterday I dug a Mercury Dime from a plug that had an iron item in the top layer. It came in very high for a dime, 85-90 and a bit jumpy at times, also showed it deeper than it really was, it showed it at 8-10 inches when it was really at 6. But I have learned that on deep signals the reading increases if you pop out the plug, which I did and then it settled at a nice 82-83 and out came the dime. Then I re-scanned the area and there was a ferrous item in the plug, wasnt going looking for what it was but bottom line is I got a silver dime from underneath a nail or whatever!

haha..I actually just started running it this way last week...and i swear i read it in a post YOU made...and yes..Max Sensitivity as well...I used to not it that way on my stock coil, but it seems perfect on the 5x8...thanks again!
