AT Pro arm brace balance MOD

Well here is my AP Pro balance MOD. As some of you know the AT Pro is a great detector but is not without it's faults. The one for me is balance. The Arm brace is too far forward unless you have a very short arm. This tends to put strain on your forearm and my are gets sore quickly. My answer is a simple piece to extend the brace rod. What do you thing? Feels much much better now.

Some guy on ebays sells ready made extensions that fit AT PROs and ACEs - he calls them Garrett Gizmos - for those who don't want to make their own.
 

If I feel the need I'll probably duct tape a sand filled sock to the underside of the arm rest.
 

I have a short arm so mine seems to fit pretty well. But it certainly looks workable!
 

I used the inner tube from a shower curtain I bought from Walmart. It was a perfect fit over the AT's handle tube.
