Asian Coin?????

Hello all..It has been awhile since I have posted anything, mainly because it has been too hot to detect here...We can't be satisfied..too hot or too cold. Since the detecting has been slim I ended up at a flea market and came across this coin/token..not sure what it is and the guy I got it from had no idea either but was willing to part with it for .50..I lost 50 cents in the washing machine before so I took it off his hands. For size, it is about the same size as a US Silver Dollar and the writing appears to be Asian..Japanese or maybe Chinese? I am sure one of the coin guys can give me an idea of what it might be..Thanks for looking and HH.

Thanks for the quick reply mojjax....just looked at that one on ebay...hmmmm....wish mine was that one..did you see the darn price and bids on that thing..lol I think mine must be some sorta fake...has to be..only paid 50cents for mine..lol

I was just reading that real ones weigh 27 grams . Do you have a scale ? Yours looks to be in really nice condition .

Don't judge by where you got it. Some good finds can be found at those places. I would have it verified.
