Looks like an " *** IMPERIAL STAND. *** [eagle above]" backmark. If so, it's likely Albert's #AY 60A, Militia Artillery, c. 1814-21.

Very nice find :icon_thumleft: You may already know, but 1812 activity took place in MI. I would research the area and see what you can find if you haven't looked into it yet. Good luck.

With the exception of the Frenchtown (Monroe) massacre and mackinaw island, we didn't see much.

that would be pretty cool, as I know frenchtown has been pounded over the last few years.
negative, found in Jackson....aka...jerkwater. an old farmhouse built in mid 1800's
