I found this in the woods in central Ohio. Appears to be sandstone, rectangle shape approx 3" there is a "knob" on top that is identical on both sides. The entire piece is about 2" inches high. The most intriguing part is there appears to be markings or engravings on it, even a small person. This actually sets my metal detector off, and there are many small gold flakes in it everywhere (fools gold?) I am new to this, and do not know anything about artifacts... Any help you can provide would be great! Thank you!
