Artifact?

I found this on the bed of a lake reservoir that had been lowered. It appears to be flint and has a scalloped appearance that suggests knapp ping. The hole in the bottom reveals crystals sort of like a geode which has me stumped. Any help identifying what it might be is appreciated.

Here are some additional photos that I couldn't get to upload the first time. Could be just a rock as you said, but it looks like it was worked on at some time. My photos aren't very good.

If a rock was to roll down a hill and impact with other rocks a natural knapping will happen so that is what you could have there. Pretty cool that it has the cavity inside with the crystal formation.
