Artifact or Just Cool Quartz ?

Evening
I found this in a creekbed back in the woods out in Wake county NC while metal detecting. A guy i work with who is a big arrowhead / artifacts collector said he thought it was either a preform or blade.
Would like 2nd opinion

Artifact! I see pressure flaking on the edges. Hard to see with quartz though!

I’m torn on which but leaning toward preform. But listen to the experts over me.

Looks like a rejected preform. The longitudinal crack would spell doom if it was worked farther. If it was perfect it would have been taken. It was there because it was reject and tossed. It’s a nice find and one of the largest quartz bifaces I’ve ever seen.
