A friend of mine bowhunts southern Ohio. He tells me the fields are loaded with indian artifacts and are quite easy to find, but getting permission to look if your not a local is not so easy. Ive heard this from other collectors and seen some beautiful points they have found. My friend told me the best place he found to hang a treestand where some nice bucks travel is right in a tree thats sits on top of large burial mound. He told me he wont hang it there because it freaks him out and the rest of the guys he hunts with wont either.

Try hunting along farm fields along the Scioto river.
I have found up to 30 peices in 1 day.Well 15 years ago.I know there are more search flood plains where they wont farm. good luck.
