Sonny. Looks like a little plow drag on it but looks like its been pecked or worn some. Does not look like a natural tumble marks. I would say it was used as a hammer stone. Mat best guess :thumbsup:
 

Mano.


Mano is the Spanish word for "hand," and it refers to a stone that is held in one or both hands and moved back and forth against a larger stone in order to grind seeds, nuts, and other hard materials. Metate is derived from metatl, a word used by native peoples in central Mexico to describe the larger stone against which the mano is ground.
 

I have one almost exactly like it and always thought it was a pecking stone or a tool to take flakes off.
 

id say the made some kind of flour with it,i bet there is some plant traces inbeded in that.my son has this eye clopes thing that i would like to use on that... jamey
