'Artcarved' wedding band

I went out with a fellow T-netter for a morning hunt today, and found this 14K wedding band.

It has a hallmark on it, says 'Artcarved'.

It also has an interesting composition, it looks like it is not all gold, based on the look on the outer part of the ring.

Any ideas on what this ring has going on?

Thanks

nice score!

I found an art carved silver ring high quality older ring nice Job!!!!

Anyway, Artcarved makes some really great stuff, and they have a really large selection of jewelry.

You can check out the artcarved website, and select all wedding bands to view. I checked under the "HIS" results, and couldn't find this band. Checked out the women's ones, too, and it's not there either. Suggests an older design.

Often, paint and enamel is used to offset designs. Great ring, though!

Skippy

Skippy, I found their website, and I do not see this design.

I was hoping to see it with a nice high price tag, but that hardly matters.

The wife is wearing it, so she is happy, guaranteeing a few more passes for hunting on the weekends!

It made it a very cool find, having a hallmark on it.

Nice ring forsure, Artcarved inventor of seamless wedding bands late 19th C if memory serves, i have two yellow 14k beaded edge bands w script hallmark, first seen on this design and block letter marking, congrats!

I looks like a Celtic knot wedding band. I found one last year but mine was copper. GREAT find.

Congrats on your find & wish you many more.

Congrats! That's a great find, and.....

I'd say that ring is perhaps quite a bit more valuable than just the gold content.
