After a bad day yesterday I needed to get out. So I got in my truck and headed to the desert to release some stress. What better way then doing some dirt fishing... Well, I'm glad I did. It was a little scary with the wind blowing and the sounds of howling coyotes. I swear there was also a spirit around cause I had goose bumps all over. Hit some decent signals from midnight to 0300 in the morning and pulled out a few good targets. A WWI-WWII eagle hat pin the size of a dollar, a token, some wheatie's and what appears to be a copper arrowhead pendent with an Indian face on the front. Enjoy the pics...

Very cool finds!

Thanks

I hope you detect with a black light too...the scorpions come out at night!

Really cool pendant, any idea what the token is?

That pendant looks really neat and being copper makes it even more cool, would be great to know more about it ! Whats this about lights and scorpions in the night desert?

I found a few on google under copper arrowhead with indian bust. Apparently they date from the early 1900's - 1930's . Im basing this on what we've found in the area.

It's really nice... thinking of giving it to my buddy car91rs who is part Indian. taking votes lol

nah... keep it.... just don't show him.

Lmao!!!!!

I like it. I like 'em all.

Nice pendent, and finds!

Maybe you were a little too close to a hidden treasure!

Some nice finds. I could never have a successful hunt out here that late at night, the Border Patrol would be going nuts trying to figure out what I was doing, so I would most likely end up talking to them all night. Congrats

Came close to finding some of the same finds of yours last weekend. Always look forward to your poats. Congrats.

Thanks RayRay... it's getting harder to find anything at the honey hole. Thanks Kinley, you have some nice finds too...as you, I'm not too far from the border, but far enough from it that i don't need to worry about them. What part of Texas are you from?

I'm about two hours east of Del Rio, out in the middle of no where. The Rio is 14 miles south of my house, so I get to look into Mexico every afternoon.
