Arrowhead ID help

Hoping to learn what type and timeframe this comes from. Also the material. Is it chert? It was found in eastern NC along with 3 suspected metates. Thanks for all the great replies and information.

Possibly a Stanley point made of chert. Early to Middle Archaic time period...
