Finally I get to watch the famous 'American Diggers'. What a lucky bunch you are to have such amazing gardens to dig, & there seems to be $5000 of goodies under every stone. I don't see you slackers post as much as they do, but I guess they are the 'best diggers in the world'.
I will be watching the British version tonight, called Hoard Hunters, they are happy to get 5 scrappies.:laughing7:
Less of the boom & onto today finds;
I was on my own for a short hunt of 3.5 hours. Nothing that exciting:

Broken Scrappy
Early 19th C Military Button
Medieval Couldron Foot
Buckles
Very worn hammered:sadsmiley:
Late 18th C Horse Harness Mount (Plated Lead) - New type for me.

LOL @ the Savage dig, Crusader.

Great hunt, as always. :) Hammer time!

Well, thats really a worn one. But hammered is hammered!

Its 1 to the yearly count, during a difficult period, so all is well.

A used hammered its much better than my silver of this year! Which is 0
...hahaha
Congrats

Crusader as you've likely surmised, the U.S. TV MDing shows are just that shows with no reality to them. The beach hunters here are the only ones who might approach that amount in a Month's time and then not all of them by a long shot!

Most of the time when I get out it is into the mountains of California and I look for stuff like this - 182_8222.JPG
Even then I do not find it all the time. It is so much fun when I do though!........................63bkpkr

Far left - two spent lead bullets, Bottom - three magnetic rocks, Upper right - rock also magnetic and a U.S. dime for size, Center - the main topic of the picture - placer river Gold
