... plunged into a Pennsylvania field. It was, later, retrieved by an eye-witness to the event. At least, that's how the story goes.

Here are some pictures of the object. A friend wanted me to post them so that he can see what everyone thinks about "The Rock".

Not a meteorite, sorry.
 

That's quite "The Rock" He's pretty damned good if he saw a rock traveling 12000 mph across the sky then was able to walk right up to the exact one from miles away a pick it up. Does he wear a cape?
 

Meteorites don't have sedimentary layers,just a plain conglomeration.
