Hi again, Roccha:

There's an 1864 Military Map of the Department of New Mexico and Arizona around that's fairly useful for the areas most traveled by then. Some parts are fairly vague, but not to the 'Here Be Dragons' extreme. You can get a copy the map from almost any vintage map link. But you don't have to go much later than the Civil War to find a lot more detail on the maps.

Best to you,
Jack

Rochha, in case you missed it on the other thread

You asked. Here's the link for the 1864 Military map of the Department of New Mexico and Arizona: http://www.wnpa.org/Merchant2/merch...ode=WNPAS&Product_Code=F3450&Category_Code=PM

After you messaged me for the url I did a Google search and found there are a lot more AZ maps around from that time period than there was the last time I looked. You might find it worth your while to run the Google gauntlet on it, plugging in the words, military, department, map, Arizona, 1864 and have a look at what's out there.
