Aren't you odd?

found this dime while roll hunting ... the coin is odd around the edges and is like almost the size of a penny... is it an error? its a 2004 D. Thought it was a dryer but the edges were perfect

For some weird reason... the other pics won't attach but the reverse of the coin has all the detail more centered

With out seeing the obverse and reverse of the coin it's hard to say. Can you take a picture of it next to a penny as size reference. It would think it to be what is called a "broadstrike" error. It's when the coin is struck without being contained in the collar die which will cause the coin to spread out larger than normal. The problem is that all denominations of coins struck this way will have a plain edge and yours has a reeded edge. I don't know buddy, :icon_scratch: better pics would help a lot.
