Well I've been loyally detecting one area in the woods near my home and the items in the (cruddy) picture below are all from this same area. I think I've hit this place pretty hard and it's about time I find a new spot. I've been combing the entire area for all of April, and I've thrown out a lot of trash and cleaned the area of beer cans galore, and I've had some great finds too. Here's to my first month detecting!
-An 1800's carriage lamp
-Only one shoe buckle but I'll take it
-A tungsten ring
-Many bullets, cartridges and shell tops
-Bladed tools
-Ox shoes (one is not in picture, still in my car haha)
-Random hunks of metal
-Coins
It was a fun month, now that the weather is getting warmer around here it's time to pick it up a notch!

That carriage lamp is cool! What year, and type, coins did you find?

I really like the carriage lamp. What a cool find!

Not very old, but 4 1987 quarters all in the same hole in the middle of nowhere, it was strange. And a few dimes, one is a nice 1954 though.

1954, that's silver!

We look like we been hunting the same spot:). Except you got an awesome carriage light out of the deal.... That's really cool! I got the same little curled piece of iron, that looks like a teacup handle... Do you have any idea what that is?
