Are the numbers in the Beale story used to solve it?

I was wondering if the story numbers were used to encipher then maybe they decipher it too. Using the numbers 11 and 12 from the joke in Ovid's book about feet, I thought what if there were 750,000 inches in the columns of the temple with 2906 pilasters and 1453 columns?

31 squared x 519" =498,759"
19 squared x 519" =187,359"
11 squared x 519" = 62,799"
10 x 108.3" =1083"

Total 1453 columns with 750,000" or 62,500 feet.

You could use 19 squared x 522 and that would get rid of the 10 but you need that for the number of columns(?)
Is it possible if you take the number 2906 out of #1 to have 519 left?

lol......actually they say nothing, just random numbers. But my point is that if we work at it hard enough we can get them to say something, or to arrive at something, that is possibly relevant to any subject perused. This is the problem with the Beale ciphers, we have no idea how they may have been arranged, what, if anything, they might say or how they might say it. We have no key, no place to even start. However, if we work at it long enough, regardless of our approach, we can get them to say something, or to present something that appears to be relevant. In other words, we have no clues, and we badly need some accurate clues before we can even begin to attack them.

I agree. I thought that if there was some structure, than it might apply to the solved part as well in some small way. I honestly don't see anything in those numbers yet. Also I believe it would be helpful if other people posted a couple of ideas. I have heard someone say it's in the "strings" but I don't know what they are talking about. (I'm 57 ) I have taken a couple computer classes but it's not my way of life!
