Are the DFX and the MXT comparable??

When it comes to depth and acuracy are the DFX and MXT the same. Why would you pic one over the other?

the mxt was designed to find gold which it does very well.
the mxt only uses one frequency. where the dfx uses two. which can be used separately or together.
both are very good machines, as far as which one is better, thats a matter of opinion.

Both quality machines. I chose the MXT because after reading the manuals, while the MXT still needs to be learned it is much simpler than the DFX. I personally don't have that much patience.

I don't believe you can go wrong either way. There are many dual owners on Tnet and the Whites Forum that have both and can give you an intelligent answer unlike myself.
