Here is a photo of me and my best hunting partner!! Zach is 7, and loves to hunt, fish, metal detect, anything that Dad likes to do
I have been a member for over a year, but have not posted much, I mainly just read everyone else's post's. I started detecting when I was 11 yrs old, (I am now 37). My Aunt and Uncle gave me my first detector, a Compass Yukon, model 99B, I found a lot of stuff with that "old" basic machine, and I still have it! I use a XLT, and my son uses a White's 6000. We mainly look for relics and coins, but will search for anything, including property boundaries, water shut off valves, Well caps, etc. etc. (I have gotten lot's of requests over the years, once people find out you have a metal detector....
